Tachymeter

Survey and boundary marking

Today the land surveyors from Müller & Richter surveyed the plot of land in order to create an exact plan of site. All land boundaries were marked and their lengths precisely measured. In addition, elements like roadsides and manhole covers were documented.

Apart from marking the boundaries of the plot, a height grid was created. This is important to determine the amount of soil that will be moved during earthwork.

The survey was performed with a tachymeter, which is shown in the picture above.

Purchase contract

Purchase of real estate

Today marks an important milestone in our project: the purchase of real estate was notarized by a notary. As a consequence, the change of ownership of the property will be entered into the Land Registry. With this entry, the purchase contract becomes legally valid and we are able to take the first steps on-site, e.g. the exact survey of the plot of land.

Project start: first workshop

Project start

Ready, set, go: Today the project started with the first workshop on planning the new Elementar building in Langenselbold. Several project partners attended the meeting which took place in Elementar’s conference room in Hanau: the team of architect’s office winter-bauconcept (Gelnhausen), the team of Innius TGA (Frankfurt), responsible for building services engineering, and the team of Werner Sobek (Frankfurt), in charge of the statics.

This first meeting was a successful starting signal for Elementar’s building project. Many more meetings and workshops are going to follow – we look forward to working with this dedicated team of experts.
