At the southern part of Elementar’s new headquarter, a modern warehouse evolves. The façade of this part of the building is going be covered by a system of profiled glass, as shown in the picture above. The façade consists of two U-profiled glass elements with a translucent glass fiber insulation material inside (click here to watch a video on how to mount the insulation). This material (thickness: 100 mm) of the type TIMax GL-PlusF enhances the heat insulation, reducing solar heat penetrating through the windows during summertime. This is especially important since this façade is facing southwards.
A further benefit is that incoming light is scatterd nicely, so that the warehouse will be illuminated evenly by the incoming sunlight.
